Homeopathy in the UK 2013

The Faculty of Homeopathy continues to promote the development of homeopathy and to set and maintain standards in education and clinical practice. It continues to be seen as a standard bearer for homeopathic education and our qualifications are recognised markers of homeopathic knowledge and skill for doctors, veterinary surgeons, nurses, osteopaths, chiropractors, pharmacists and podiatrists and our international community of associates, licensed members, members and fellows continues to grow. Our courses abroad have continued to develop over the last year with teachers from all the UK accredited teaching centres.

The achievement of which we are most proud is the recent inclusion of the Faculty of Homeopathy in a parliamentary statute conferring the status of ‘designated body’on the Faculty. Thereby the Faculty is empowered to set up a revalidation system of members, required every 5 years by law. This will go a long way in ensuring the future of medical homeopathy as a medical specialty.
