LMHI Congresses
The organization of LMHI Congresses is directly linked to the purposes of the association as described in the Constitution of the LMHI:
-
The development and securing of homeopathy worldwide and
-
The creation of a link among licensed homeopaths with medical diplomas and societies and persons who are interested in homeopathy.
The idea behind a LMHI Congress should always be the creation of a platform that offers to all participants the possibility to interact, to exchange professional experiences, to cultivate friendships and to learn from each other for the purposes of developing and securing homeopathy worldwide.
Every member country of the LMHI with Institutional member association, and which correctly pays the yearly fees for all the members of the association, can request the honor of organizing the annual LMHI Congress. The national Vice- President or National Contact of a country interested in the organization of the LMHI congress needs to send the application to the General Secretary of the LMHI. This request will be put on the agenda of the annual meetings of the Executive Committee and of the International Council and will be determined by these two governing bodies of the LMHI.
Countries with Associations that have not paid in full the LMHI fees, or countries having no institutional members but only a certain number of individual members organized by a NVP or NC, can also obtain a congress. Usually the organization of the Congress will need to be initiated 5 years before the year that it is to be held.
